The device consists of a threaded bolt, a spring-loaded toggle wing mechanism, and a washer or nut. Tightening the bolt draws the wings against the inner surface, distributing weight evenly to prevent slipping.
Installation is straightforward: drill a hole slightly larger than the toggle's closed width, insert the toggle (with wings folded), and tighten the bolt until secure. Common materials include steel (for strength) and zinc plating (to resist corrosion).
